In 2005, he received an Awards For Documentary Films in Indonesian Film Festival. He moved to Astro in 2006 as an Executive Producer. In 2010, he build the Documentary Department in Kompas TV as Head of the Department, and in 2013, he and five other filmmakers established Indonesian Nature Film Society (INFIS) in Bogor, West Java. Besides his experienced in National Television, he also produced documentary film for NHK and TBS, both are National Television in Japan.
As a Journalist and documentary filmmaker, he has received some awards for his works. In 2005, he won and nominated Indonesian Film Festival for Documentary Film. In 2009, his film nominated in Cancer Film Festival in Texas, USA. In 2012, he won two awards from Anugrah Adiwarta for humanitarian and investigative documentary film and one awards for Wildlife Documentary Film in Asian Television Awards, the highest Asian Television Festival in Asia. Currently he actively engages with INFIS as principal filmmaker for producing films for promoting change, the importance of saving Indonesian environment as well as promoting social justice for indigenous peoples, peasants and fisherfolk.
